First of all, we had transfers and.... nothing changed haha. Im happy though because I get to be in this area for another 6 weeks! We have a lot to look forward to, a lot of great investigators and we should have some baptisms this month. Speaking of that...
I am ECSTATIC to say that finally Juan Carlos (23) has entered the waters of baptism! After teaching him for 3 months and after the many baptismal dates that he´s had during that time, yesterday morning his uncle baptized him and it was a wonderful experience. The baptism itself was a bit rushed because we had to finish before sacrament meeting started, but he was baptized and confirmed in the same hour (usually we baptize on Saturday and confirm on Sunday). But he is super excited, he is already enrolling in institute and is just way happy, the whole Roman family is too. Hermano Alejandro got to baptize him and was a part of the entire process and Hermana Edith has also been a really great support to him so yesterday was a very happy, very memorable day for everyone.
This weekend as a zone we had a fast so that the Lord could pour out His Spirit on the people here (Alma 8:10) and we are hoping for big things this transfer. Not much else to say this week, but I love yall and hope you have a great week!
